How time is felt in the body, and how the body feels over time.
In Knoster, the audience enter a room where time is sensed rather than measured. Where the dance arises from the oscillation between counterbalance and yielding — between weight and weightlessness. Where the gravity of labour becomes a path to the lightness of dance.
Knoster explores time as a physical experience; How the sensation of duration and change seem to decelerate, accelerate, and at the same time remain constant in a space both within and beyond time.
As screens and information feeds consume our waking hours, Knoster reminds us of another temporality — one that is felt in the body, rather than measured by machines. Stillness, silence, and the breath of work tell their own stories, weaved together in a swirling dance.
A contemplative experience to step into like a forest, or sit beside like a fire.
