“HOROS” (aizgūts no grieķu vārdiem χορός un χώρος – deja un telpa ) ir dejas organizācijas “Tuvumi” iniciēts un vadīts laikmetīgās dejas festivāls, kura mērķis ir caur mākslinieku rezidenču un izrāžu programmas organizēšanu veicināt laikmetīgās dejas attīstību un starptautiskā sadarbības tīkla veidošanos.

You will have an opportunity to meet the HOROS residents, their new ideas, and what they have developed during the residency. HOROS 2025 residents are dance artists Laima Jaunzema, who will be working in tandem with artist Maciej Sado (Poland), as well as Agate Bankava, Sintija Siliņa, Ieva Gaurilčikaite-Sants (Latvia/Lithuania), and Dominika Markevičiute (Lithuania).

ResidencyHOROS dejas rezidenču programma ir vērsta uz ilgtermiņa attiecību veidošanu ar rezidences māksliniekiem un rezidenču aktivitāšu iekļaušanu Aizputes pilsētas vietējā kontekstā, vietās un kopienā. HOROS rezidence notiek reizi gadā, vasarā, un tajā tiek uzņemti mākslinieki, kuri ir gatavi dalīties savā praksē vai daiļradē ar vietējo sabiedrību festivāla laikā rezidences ietvaros.
HOROS 2025 rezidenti ir dejas mākslinieki Laima Jaunzema, kas strādās tandēmā ar mākslinieku Mačeju Sado (Polija), Agate Bankava, Sintija Siliņa, Ieva Gaurilčikaite-Sants (Latvija/Lietuva) un Dominika Markevičiute, Emīlija Dūdaite (Lietuva).
The HOROS dance residency program is focused on building long-term relationships with resident artists and integrating residency activities into the local context, spaces, and community of Aizpute. The HOROS residency takes place once a year, during summer, and hosts artists willing to share their practice or creative work with the local public during the festival, integrated as part of the residency.
